How long will it take to receive a lien release after I pay off my automobile, RV, or motorcycle loan?

We process lien releases approximately 10-14 days after the loan is paid off, and the lien release card will be mailed to you. If you are selling your vehicle and need a lien release quickly, please speak with one of our lenders. We may be able to provide a lien release within 24 hours.

Once you receive the lien release card, be sure to file it with the Department of Motor Vehicles immediately to have the lien removed from your title. If you fail to file it and later need another copy of the lien release card, you must pay a fee to obtain the duplicate card.
